I’m Duane S. Montague.

I’m a writer, storyteller, designer, and creative communicator who loves helping people find hope, beauty, and clarity in a noisy world. Whether I’m writing a Christmas book, crafting a story, or building a brand video or design piece, my goal is the same: bring light, bring meaning, and help people feel seen.

Writing & Storytelling

I write books, devotionals, novels, and stories that explore faith, family, grief, hope, Christmas, and the quiet ways God shows up in everyday life.

Creative Design & Content Production

Alongside writing, I’ve spent years creating digital content and visual storytelling for brands, churches, events, and organizations.

This includes:

  • Branding and messaging
  • Storytelling for campaigns, nonprofits, and corporate teams
  • Written content and longform copy
  • Creative consulting

I love taking ideas (even unfinished ones) and turning them into visuals or words that make people feel something.

I believe creativity is a gift meant to serve others.
Hope grows when we tell honest stories.
Beauty matters because it reveals the heart of God.
And in a world full of noise, clear, compassionate communication makes all the difference.

Everything I create (whether it’s a book, a video, a brand story, or a Christmas lyric) is rooted in that conviction.

A Little About Me

I’m a husband, father of four, and lifelong storyteller.
I grew up in Washington State, now live in Southern California, and sometimes I miss the rain, but not very often. I love music, National Parks, Disneyland, and any time I get to spend time with my family making memories.
I’ve spent years in writing, communications, design, and public speaking, and I still get excited about a blank page and a fresh idea.
